Whole Foods' Gluten-Free Store Map
Traversing a supermarket to find gluten-free items can be difficult, even when the markets create dedicated gluten-free sections, many items that are naturally gluten-free are not typically included in those areas. On a recent visit to Whole Foods, I came across a sheet they have available that details out where all of the gluten-free items in that store are located.
It’s pretty comprehensive, and will at least get you started on an efficient shopping trip. Plus, if you’re new to the gluten-free lifestyle, these handy sheets can help you locate many of the gluten-free items that the store carries.
I still scour every aisle no matter what though because you can find gems of gluten-freedom scattered in unlikely areas. Just recently at my local Fairway Market, I found gluten-free puzzle pretzels from Bachman and discovered that Quaker Oats is now labeling all of their rice cakes gluten-free, which is awesome because I have a weakness for their Chocolate Crunch Rice Cakes – so good!
Do you think more supermarkets should provide these kinds of resources to their shoppers, or do you think it’s a waste of paper?
