Mango Chutney
This mango chutney will rock your world. It's so easy to prepare that even when I was semi-drunk I couldn't mess it up. Don't let the dummy-proof nature of this recipe fool you, the end result is awesome-sauce, no pun intended.
In fact, I love it so much that I declare it will become of your favorite condiments. It's a little sweet, sour, spicy and savory all in one bite. My grilled chicken legs pretty much played second fiddle to my chutney, but I didn't care. All I do know is that sweet & meat go well together and if that's wrong, I don't want to be right.
Mango Chutney
- 2 mangos, diced
- 1/2 cup of white vinegar
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1/2 tblsp cinnamon
- 1/2 inch of ginger, diced
- 2 cloves of garlic, diced
- 1/2 onion, diced
- 2 habaneros, diced
Ok, get ready for the directions. Are you ready? Put all of the ingredients into a pot and simmer for at least 45 minutes.
That's it. Go watch some tv or drink some wine or something while you wait for the deliciousness to happen.
